Summary You will serve as a TSCM INVESTIGATOR of NCIS. All Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) positions are in the excepted service. Responsibilities You will apply security principles, concepts, and methodologies of technical surveillance countermeasures. You will collect and maintain data, analyze threats posed to systems, and initiate appropriate investigative actions. You will analyze and research existing and potential physical and electronic threats directed towards Department of Navy worldwide. You will assist with completing electronic, visual, and physical security examinations to ascertain areas are free of technical security hazards and weaknesses. You will identify physical security vulnerabilities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following : Planning, organizing, and conducting on-site Technical Surveillance Countermeasure (TSCM) investigations relating to facilities / infrastructures to ensure they are devoid of technical surveillance devices.
