Job Overview

The Department of the Navy seeks a highly skilled Administrative Specialist to join their team. As an Administrative Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating writing and editing a variety of technical standard operating procedures, manuals, and technical reports related to ordnance and weapon systems.

This is a challenging opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent communication skills. You will work closely with engineers, technicians, explosive workers, safety professionals, and other stakeholders to create high-quality technical documents that meet the needs of the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate writing and editing of technical documents.
  • Consult and collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation.
  • Lead teams in identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks among employees.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on team progress and accomplishments.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience in planning, scheduling, and coordinating writing and editing technical documents. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential for success in this position.
