Systems Engineering Role
The Department of The Navy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Systems Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to our engineers and technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement systems engineering processes and procedures to ensure compliance with customer & fleet requirements, engineering standards, critical safety/quality requirements/policies, cost and schedule.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to engineers and technicians to ensure compliance with customer & fleet requirements, engineering standards, critical safety/quality requirements/policies, cost and schedule.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate at least three years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in a related field such as aerospace or defense.
- Proven track record of successfully leading teams and achieving results in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
