Responsibilities:
- Providing technical leadership for the development, introduction, and sustainment of ALRE systems.
- Overseeing the execution of technical projects to ensure compliance with customer and fleet requirements, engineering standards, critical safety/quality requirements/policies, cost, and schedule.
- Collaborating with NAWCAD and NAVAIR leadership, PEOs, SYSCOMS, academia, and industry to support programs of record, in-service systems, ongoing research, and emergent research.
- Leading and directing critical reviews of technologies, system development assessments, and sustainment strategies to support equipment and legacy aircraft launch and recovery.
Requirements:
- A minimum of one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-04 or comparable GS-13 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in providing technical leadership, project execution, and compliance with customer and fleet requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including NAWCAD and NAVAIR leadership, PEOs, SYSCOMS, academia, and industry.
- Ability to provide senior technical advice and expertise to program managers, PEOs, Navy leadership, other Government organizations, and academia, industry, to support programs of record, in-service systems, ongoing research, and emergent research.
