Job Summary
The selected candidate will support the development and life-cycle management of avionics systems for various naval tactical aircraft. The position involves technical management, research, development, and integration of avionics systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and life-cycle management of avionics systems for LRASM, Small Diameter Bomb Increment II, and Joint Standoff Weapon.
- Represent PMA-201 in Long Range Fires Working Groups across services and Navy Components.
- Perform research, development, and life-cycle support for avionics and weapons systems.
- Coordinate specific avionics systems engineering efforts within the assigned Program Office.
- Manage a variety of technical disciplines and provide leadership to numerous technical personnel.
- Provide engineering management and engineering support throughout the aircraft life cycle.
Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
- Successful completion of a professional engineering degree or equivalent.

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Additional vacancies may be filled by this announcement. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements. You will be subject to random testing. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
