DutiesYou will serve as the subject matter expert and program lead for all aspects of creating, defining, and assessing the U.S. Navy’s engagement in the joint logistics arena.You will coordinate and manage joint logistics briefings and key forum presentations.You will develop, maintain, and exploit relationships to ensure Navy’s equities are preserved in the joint logistics arena.You will provide input to and participates in the development of joint logistics doctrine.You will review existing joint logistics policy and doctrine to identify and fill gaps.You will develop and present briefing on joint logistics concepts and documents as required.You will represent Navy interests and protect Navy equities at various joint Service meetings, working groups, and committees dealing with logistics issues.Requirements Conditions of EmploymentMust be a US Citizen.Must be determined suitable for federal employment.Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing highly developed knowledge of supply chain management to make decisions that can impact an organization and to develop new policies and procedures to improve logistics and supply support.
