Job Description
As a first-level supervisor, you will provide management, planning, coordination, technical direction, financial, and personnel management for a wide range of projects across multiple Surface Ship programs.
You will contribute to the management of a multi-task organization responsible for Weapon, Combat, and Missile systems, providing test and evaluation, and in-service engineering for various Navy ship classes and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with mid- and senior-level leaders on technical, programmatic, financial, and administrative efforts to support products and services for Fleet and program office customers.
- Evaluate project status and concerns, ensuring NSWC PHD leadership is apprised of progress.
- Provide oversight and mentorship to all employees in the branch, promoting technical and career development.
- Lead strategic studies, planning, and execution initiatives as part of this position's requirements.
- Promote alignment between branch tasks and established strategic objectives.
- Utilize knowledge of Combat Systems principles to contribute to the execution, oversight, and support of integration tests for major Navy weapons systems and ship platform combat systems.
Requirements
