Job Description
The job holder will provide expert advice and guidance related to combat systems engineering, testing, and integration.
They will lead a team performing test events, requirements development, architecture development/lab operation execution, analysis/analysis report-out, as well as evaluation and assessment of combat system baselines leading to certification.
The job holder will develop and execute project plans that meet customer requirements which are within resource constraints.
They will provide leadership in a fast-paced environment with multiple simultaneous projects.
The job holder will develop associated tactical strategies based on their knowledge and experience of technical engineering.
They will provide effective professional and technical advice and guidance to a diverse, multi-disciplinary workforce.
The job holder will effectively partner with those internal and external to the organization to integrate technical efforts that provide coordinated, timely and cost-efficient products.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
Qualifications
The job requires at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-05 (GS-13/14 equivalent), or grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading operational analysis and mission planning to support combat systems readiness.
