Job Summary
The Department of The Navy is seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems Engineering Manager to lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge systems engineering projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing senior-level technical oversight and guidance to ensure the successful delivery of complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to develop and implement system engineering projects
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure compliance with DoD and Navy standards and regulations
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with project implementation
- Ensure compatibility, interoperability, and integration of all functional and physical interfaces
Requirements
- At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 (GS-12/13) pay band in the Federal Service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
- Professional engineering degree from an accredited institution
- Registration as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) by any state, district, Guam, or Puerto Rico
- Successful completion of a curriculum leading to a bachelor's degree in an appropriate scientific field, such as engineering technology, physics, chemistry, architecture, computer science, mathematics, hydrology, or geology, with at least one year of professional engineering experience acquired under professional engineering supervision and guidance
