Job Description
As a technical leader, you will provide direction and expertise for the development, system introduction, and sustainment of current and future Automated Logistics Readiness Evaluation (ALRE) systems.
You will oversee the execution of technical projects to ensure compliance with customer and fleet requirements, engineering standards, critical safety/quality requirements/policies, cost, and schedule.
Additionally, you will provide senior technical advice to program managers, PEOs, Navy leadership, other Government organizations, academia, and industry to support programs of record, in-service systems, and ongoing and emergent research.
Furthermore, you will lead and direct critical reviews of technologies, system development assessments, and sustainment strategies to support equipment and legacy aircraft launch and recovery.
Technical Requirements
- Provide technical leadership for the development, system introduction, and sustainment of current and future ALRE systems.

Education and Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in an appropriate scientific field is required. A professional engineering degree or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position may also be acceptable.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

- Specialized experience providing technical leadership for the development, system introduction, and sustainment of current and future ALRE systems.
- Experience overseeing the execution of technical projects to ensure compliance with customer and fleet requirements, engineering standards, critical safety/quality requirements/policies, cost, and schedule.
- Ability to provide senior technical advice to program managers; PEO's, Navy leadership, other Government organization, and academia, industry, to support programs of record, in service systems, and ongoing and emergent research.
