Job Summary:
You will assist with developing and implementing comprehensive product support strategies to include assistance with periodic reviews to ensure the arrangements are consistent with the overall product support strategy.
About This Role:
- Provide policy, guidance, training, and oversight of Sustainment management and integration processes.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Sustainment policies and processes that integrate a wide range of functional activities contributing to the effectiveness of programs and support systems.
- Evaluate policy and procedures across multiple functional disciplines and Product Support Elements to ensure optimal and integrated guidelines for logistics acquisition and sustainment.
- Represent PSM/I at designated program reviews and audits to evaluate the status/effectiveness of highly complex, highly diverse support solutions.
- Apply analytics to identify command-wide efficiencies/best-practices across all product support elements for entire product life-cycle support domain.
Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
- New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
- Mastery of advanced concepts, principles, and practices of all aspects of the broad field of logistics management (both traditional and non-traditional sustainment solutions).
- Mastery of two or more Integrated Product Support Elements (IPSEs) with demonstrated experience executing those elements within an integrated product team environment.
