Summary: Responsible for planning, executing, and managing the Command's activities to achieve wartime readiness. Establishes strategic plans, identifies metrics, and coordinates with departments for implementation.

Our organization requires a skilled individual to oversee the Command's activities, ensuring wartime readiness. The successful candidate will develop command-level plans, processes, and procedures, and coordinate their implementation with relevant departments.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Plan and direct test and training activities to evaluate workforce readiness
* Develop and implement command-level plans, processes, and procedures
* Coordinate with departments to ensure effective implementation
* Provide expertise in support of wartime readiness efforts
* Interface with senior officials to gain understanding, identify requirements, and foster collaboration
**Requirements:**
* Must be a US Citizen
* Determined suitable for federal employment
* Participate in direct deposit pay program
* Obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty
* Ability to travel extensively by military and commercial aircraft
**Qualifications:**
* 1 year of specialized experience at or equivalent to NT-5 (GS-13/14 equivalency) pay band in Federal service or equivalent experience in private or public sector
* Experience in managing submarine or surface fleet activities and operations to ensure wartime readiness
