The role:
Join our team as an accounts program coordinator, where you will work as part of a small team to process invoice transactions and pay vendors for Oregon DMV. You will help ensure that we make payments to vendors on time and accurately, while maintaining accounting for the spending of funds internally. A day in the life:
  • Enter invoice payment for DMV operation expenses in our accounting system.
  • Monitor mail and email inboxes and independently process DMV invoices as received.
  • Prepare invoices for payment processing by coding to appropriate expenditure accounts.
  • Review and verify existing contracts and ensure they are current and useable.
  • Research and respond to vendor inquires regarding payments and outstanding invoices.
  • Work in a standard office environment.

Minimum qualifications:
Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents;
OR
An associate degree in any field;
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience receiving and processing invoices for payment.
  • Experience entering data accurately into corresponding fields within software programs.
  • Experience monitoring email inboxes and processing requests.
  • Experience researching and responding to vendor inquires around payments and outstanding invoices.
