Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Aviation Program Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management and aviation operations.
Responsibilities
- Program Management: Direct subordinate employees in the technical analysis and evaluation of current operational systems used by Flight Service Specialists.
- Planning and Coordination: Participate in planning efforts that cross organizational lines within the major subdivision and LOB/SO on the future needs of flight service operations.
- Contract Management: Develop and approve solutions to current and anticipated problems which may cross organizational lines and disciplines.
- Leadership and Development: Guide subordinate managers, employees, and contractors for preventing and resolving problems without the intervention of higher-level management.
Requirements
- Education: No education can be substituted for experience.
- Experience: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-J, FG/GS-14 level in the application of program and project management principles and techniques to manage or direct one or more programs.
