We’re looking for a correspondence clerk to join our
Crash Reporting
team in Salem! In this role, you will assist internal and external customers regarding motor vehicle accidents, mandatory insurance certifications, driving privileges and more! A day in the life:
- Review accident reports and determine whether they are reportable or not.
- Review and respond to mail and requests for information.
- Draft letters in response to written or phone inquiries.
- Process accident related insurance verification, denials and fatal crash reports.
- Prepare and process hearing requests and decisions.
- Participle in special projects related to crash reporting.
- Assist with on-the-job training of other unit personnel.
- Assist customers by phone.
- Participate as a member of a team in an office environment.

Minimum qualifications:
Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents;
OR
An associate degree in any field;
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.
