The role:
Join our Federal Aid Funding Unit as a public transportation operations support analyst! In this role, you will perform grant and other administrative assistance for the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and state public transportation programs.
This is a limited duration appointment that is expected to end on or before 1/1/2025. Limited duration appointments are benefits eligible and have a designated maximum length of service. This position has the potential to become permanent.

A day in the life:
- Prepare grant reimbursement requests.
- Develop federal and state subrecipient grant contracts and amendments.
- Finalize and close subrecipient grant contracts.
- Maintain grant contracts by researching compliance and develop reports to track grant awards and payments.
- Develop new methodologies for collecting technical or performance data.
- Research and report expenditure discrepancies.
- Provide training to local agency staff on grant management via phone, virtually or in person.
- Provide audit reporting assistance to local agencies.
- Provide research assistance with monthly reconciliations for subrecipient grant contracts and awards.
- Clarify and resolve reimbursement request and payment questions for all funding streams.

Three years of secretarial or administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis.
OR
An associate degree in general office occupations and two years of secretarial or administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis.
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.

- The salary range for this position will be truncated as of April 1, 2024, which will impact the minimum salary for this classification. The new monthly salary range on April 1, 2024 will be $3,948-$5,483.
