Quality Inspector is responsible for conducting inspections, performing tests, evaluating products and processes to ensure ballscrews adherence to quality standards / specifications set by the engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of quality control principles, experience in inspection methods, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of product quality.
Requirements
Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests on aerospace components and assemblies to verify adherence to engineering specifications, drawings, and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports. Prepare and present quality reports to management as needed.
- Identify defects or deviations from specifications and work with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure that all products comply with relevant aerospace industry standards, including AS9100 requirements.
- Verify and calibrate inspection tools and equipment regularly to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting and implementing process improvements and best practices.
- Work closely with engineering, production, and other departments to address quality issues and support the resolution of production challenges
- Other tasks as assigned
