What are the responsibilities and job description for the Express Automotive Service Technician position at DePaula Ford?
DePaula Ford is seeking driven technicians to join our team. Candidates should have their own tools and must have at least 6 months of relevant experience. We offer great benefits to our service technicians, some of which are outlined below.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing requested repair work in a productive & efficient manner in accordance with dealership policies
- Performing Oil Changes & Quick Lubes in an efficient manner
- Performing Tire Changeovers & Wheel Balancing
- Test to check whether systems & components are secure & in proper working order
- Maintain efficiency & accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles
- Providing the Service Advisor with an estimate of any additional repairs needed
Job Requirements:
- Must be computer literate
- Must have a valid driver’s license and provide management with a DMV Drivers Abstract
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
- Must have a NYS Inspector's License
- Ability to learn new technology & repair procedures
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Compensation:
