Job Description: Entry Level Field Mechanic
Location: South Quincy, MA, 02169
We are looking for an entry level mechanic to work within our two production plants and two laundromats. We have a great maintenance team and are looking for someone to join them. Work includes but not limited to: troubleshooting, diagnosing, inspecting, testing, preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance on all equipment throughout the company while maintaining safety at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Complete repairs and testing assigned to you and update work orders.
- Update maintenance manager as needed and with parts needed/used.
- Work with plant managers and operators to get information to help troubleshoot equipment.
- Maintain work area and work van to be clean and safe.
- Knowledge of pressing machines, dry cleaning machines and/or laundry equipment preferred.
- Electrical knowledge and experience preferred
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with safe 3 years driving experience.
- Able to work Monday through Friday (sometimes Sat).
- Able to lift, push, pull or move 65 pounds or more.
