Summary
As a Forklift Operator, you will be essential in ensuring efficient materials handling within our distribution center. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, your role involves operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to transport goods safely and effectively. Your core skills in materials handling, combined with experience in warehouse operations and order picking, will contribute to streamlined shipping and receiving processes.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to move materials within the warehouse efficiently.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and assist in shipping and receiving processes.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and meet distribution targets.
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
