Direct Care Worker Coordinator

Position Overview
The Direct Care Worker Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the Direct Care Worker (DCW) Program personnel, ensuring proper training, competency, scheduling, and compensation. This role collaborates closely with clinical staff to provide appropriate supervision for DCWs and facilitates conferences with Arizona Long Term Care System (ALTCS) case management. Additionally, the Coordinator handles hiring, orientation, and counseling for DCWs.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
- Relationship Building :
Establish and maintain professional relationships with referral sources, case managers, and co-workers.
Accurately track and manage DCW schedules and availability.
Review and ensure the timely submission and accuracy of DCW timesheets.
Work with the Clinical Supervisor to assign staff and ensure appropriate in-home oversight of DCWs.
Maintain detailed records of DCW training, testing, and competency.
Be available on an on-call basis outside normal business hours to address program needs.
Support billing and care management through accurate data entry and timely processing.
Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.
