Your Role & Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans developed by registered occupational therapists to enhance patient function
- Assist patients in regaining daily living skills, coordination, and self-care abilities
- Monitor and document patient progress, ensure home safety, and recommend treatment adjustments as needed
- Maintain accurate clinical records and collaborate with healthcare teams for seamless care coordination
- Educate family members on patient care strategies to foster independence and continued support at home
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications – Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program, certified by the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Experience – Minimum one year of clinical experience as a COTA preferred
- Skills – Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a compassionate approach
- Requirements – Current CPR certification, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation
- Language – Spanish proficiency is required
