Dependable Nurses Inc. is seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Coordinator to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This key role provides essential administrative support for clinical operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering high-quality patient care.
Our primary patient population comes from the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), so prior experience with DDD is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling Management: Coordinate shift coverage to ensure patient needs are met with the appropriate clinicians.
- HR Coordination: Collaborate with HR to maintain up-to-date employee files for compliance and facilitate onboarding with proper documentation.
- Patient Intake: Oversee new patient admissions, including insurance verification and authorization.
- DDD Collaboration: Work closely with the DDD to align staffing with patient needs, supporting census growth and revenue generation.
- Family Support: Communicate with patients and families to assess needs and provide appropriate assistance.
- Recruitment Leadership: Lead recruitment efforts to expand the clinical team and meet the demands of the pediatric home health community.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure all activities comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Staff Development: Partner with the Director of Nursing to hire, train, and provide ongoing education for clinical staff. Be available for after-hours scheduling support as needed.
Qualifications
- Education/Experience: Three years healthcare experience, home health experience required.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of state, federal, and local home health regulations. Prior experience with DDD rules and regulations is highly beneficial.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
