Position Overview:The Recruiter/HR Specialist for the Pediatric Division will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and hiring qualified nursing professionals. Additionally, this role will manage various HR functions to ensure a positive and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare recruitment, excellent communication skills, and a passion for pediatric care.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for the Pediatric Division.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for nursing positions.
- Coordinate and conduct interviews with hiring managers.
- Manage the entire recruitment process, from job postings to onboarding.
Human Resources:
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Provide support for employee relations issues, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Conduct new hire orientations and facilitate ongoing training programs.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Pediatric Division leadership team to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment plans.
- Partner with nursing schools, professional organizations, and job fairs to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with the company's values and mission.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field a plus
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in healthcare recruitment, preferably in pediatric nursing.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
