We currently have an opening for a Purchase / Warehouse Manager
Position Summary: Purchase / Warehouse Manager leverages their expertise in negotiation, vendor management, inventory control and team leadership to support the company's financial objectives and operational goals.
Work Hours: Mon - Fri, 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. / 30 Minute Lunch
Pay Rate: Dependent upon Experience
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid, Clean driver's license
- 5 plus years of warehouse or relevant experience
- Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
- Ability to independently master new software applications, apply them and train others.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships and coordinate staff
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and multitasking skills
- Understanding warehouse and grounds safety
- Mechanical aptitude preferred
- Physical capability to handle and lift up to 50 lbs.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and team members
- Negotiates pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing for all items including special orders
- Vendor Management
- Ensures accuracy of ingoing and outgoing inventory
- Ensures proper materials are accurately pulled and put in proper location for pick up.
- Manage and develop the warehouse staff
- Leads and manages inventory counts of all company assets
- Maintain all onsite equipment
- Provides financial insights and recommendations to management to support informed decision making.
- Other duties as assigned
