Pharmacist Needed for Immediately available opportunities in Northern Arizona.
These positions are to work 13 week assignments with likelihood of assignment extension in Native American Communities.
Lodging and mileage compensation available. We offer consistent schedules and weekly pay. Hours of assignment are flexible Monday- Friday or four, 10-hour shifts.
Duties:
- Evaluates medication regimens for appropriateness, drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, non-compliance and adverse drug events.
- Counsels patients on the use, storage, cautions and side effects of all medications dispensed as well as documentation of cognitive services provided.
- Provides highly complex, critical medication treatment, monitoring, management and consultation involving risk to patient's life, safety, health or well- being with all levels of allied health providers and patients.
- Provides education to patients and their families about medications, common disease states and information on health promotion.
- Administers Vaccines as necessary.
- Manage day to day work flow
Qualifications:
Pharmacists must have obtained a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm) or a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree, Arizona RPh license, current BLS
Additional Requirements:
Must have at least one (1) year of recent experience working as a Pharmacist. Must have an Arizona active license in good standing without prior disciplinary action
