Cayuga Heights Elementary
Full-time 10 month position
HOURS: Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
SALARY: $18.75 Per Hour
Internal applications will be prorated based on time served.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Assist student transition throughout the building.
- Assist student getting on and off the bus.
- Assist student getting to the bathroom and nurse as needed.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to establish good relationships and get along with children.
- Ability to communicate and collaborat with administration and staff.
- Good power of observation and dependability.
- Prior experience caring for students with disabilities.
- Understanding and respect for confidentiality.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma; OR
- Four (4) years experience in the care and supervision of children; OR
- An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (1) and (2).
