Inventory Management Specialist
Expected Salary Range : $60,000 - $75,000 per year

The Inventory Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing and performing the daily operations of warehouse management, logistics, and packaging within supply chains. This role involves analyzing and managing inventory throughout the entire product lifecycle, from acquisition and distribution to delivery and, when necessary, discontinuation. The Inventory Management Specialist ensures seamless coordination across all supply chain functions, driving efficiencies in logistics, warehouse optimization, and packaging to support the organization's operational goals.
Duties and Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Oversee efficient warehouse operations, logistics management, and package optimization within supply chains.
- Track and maintain accurate records of stock movements in and out of the warehouse.
- Control and maintain inventory, records and data on shipments and other deliveries.
- Inspect and verify all outbound and inbound shipments to ensure they are accurate and free from damage.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory.
- Perform and report cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Stock and move existing inventory.
- Assist with other day-to-day warehouse functions.

Skills and Specifications
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not require the supervision of direct reports.
Work Environment
This job operates in a construction and office environment, inside and outside, in all weather conditions. This role requires the routine use of standard tools of the trade and office equipment.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to twist, turn, bend, lift, kneel, climb, and stand. Regular lifting up to 75 lbs. may occur.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time salaried, exempt position. Standard days and hours of work are 40 hours per week with weekends and extended hours as needed. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends will be required based on business needs.
Travel
Occasional travel may be required.
