Summary And Scope
The CDL Driver/Laborer will perform a variety of tasks related to day-to-day product transportation, delivery, and control. Primary duties involve operating commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials, as well as performing general labor tasks to support operations. This position may also perform various warehouse duties, including prioritizing and picking material to fill orders, loading, and unloading products on delivery trucks and maintaining, handling, and moving the physical inventory as needed. This job is considered variable and requires heavy travel and Deployed Resources will pay for or reimburse necessary travel expenses.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, see, hear, stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, climb, engage in repetitive motions, and use hands and fingers to manipulate objects, tools, or controls. May routinely and repetitively lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 150 pounds unassisted (or heavier with the use of proper equipment and procedures).
Expected Hours of Work
The ability to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends will be required based on contract needs. It is expected for this position to attend regular meetings during typical work hours in Eastern Standard Time as well as meetings as needed for assigned projects in other time zones.
Work Environment
This job operates in facility and field environments. We operate 24/7/365, inside and outside, in all weather conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, hand tools, site equipment and vehicles, and is required to use and wear standard PPE, which will be provided by the company. There is an expectation of clear communication in English both written and orally.
Travel
This position requires up to 100% travel. Travel is dependent on contract load. The ability to travel to job sites and be away for extended periods of time based on contract needs is required. Short notice travel is required with 24-48 hours’ notice.

Essential Functions
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (e.g., trucks, trailers) to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials.
- Assist with general labor tasks, such as site cleanup, equipment maintenance, and material handling.
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and hours worked.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatchers, and team members.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report any issues promptly.
- Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, tractors, work carts, yard maintenance equipment. (training will be provided) in a safe manner and maintain an operator license, if required
- Assist with preventative maintenance inspections and repairs of company vehicles and equipment.
- Assist with engine maintenance and repairs on diesel motors.
- Learn repair techniques under the guidance of technicians.
- Assist with packing, loading, and unloading trucks and equipment
- Read and interpret owner’s manuals, equipment schematics and work orders
- Operate various hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary to complete assigned tasks.
- Vacuum, clean windows, dash, console, and any other part of the vehicle or equipment cleaning.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills And Specifications
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and mental ability to handle receipts, read maps, road signs, maintain logs, etc.
- Ability to safely load and unload delivery trucks, requiring physical moving and lifting of products weighing as much as 150 pounds.
- Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of basic maintenance and labor functions.
- Ability to start, control, and maintain a complete process or procedure, while keeping safety and compliance at the forefront
- Possess working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems
- Ability to apply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering a vehicle at varying speeds in difficult situations, such as heavy traffic, inclement weather or in tight loading areas.
- Possess strong attention to detail and be able to establish and maintain professional and cooperative relationships with those contacted during the course of work
- Possess excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts
- Ability to take written and oral direction
- Ability to work well with a team
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- 3 years of route delivery driving experience is required.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Class A CDL with tank endorsement.
- Must be at least 23 years of age.
- Must maintain clean driving record free of violations, convictions, and accidents. (all past, present, and future driving information provided by applicants shall be verified).
