Deployed Services (DS) serves as a dedicated strategic partner to the government and other clients. We provide professional services that help transform lives, from direct care to specialized facilities and logistical support. To meet our clients’ needs, Deployed Services operates 24 hours/365 days and requires the flexibility to work additional hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.

The Field Site Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, operational efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance for large-scale, sensitive projects at a DS operational location. This role oversees a large employee base, ensuring strict adherence to complex federal, state, and corporate standards, and actively drives continuous improvement in operations and processes. In addition, collaboration with industry partners, as well as internal and external stakeholders, is essential to optimize business operations, build best practices, and deliver exceptional customer service. This role directs a team to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and timely by providing direction and support, delegating tasks, setting expectations, monitoring performance, delivering coaching and training, resolving conflicts, promoting accountability, and ensuring policy compliance.

Essential Functions:

  • Leadership & Team Management - Provide direction to employees, to include training, performance evaluations, and career development. Initiate and oversee performance to maintain a safe, respectful, and productive work environment
  • Operational Oversight - Plan and coordinate complex projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and deconflict schedules to meet or exceed project milestones. Work closely with the other industry partners to align project scope, resources, timelines, contract compliance, identifying and resolving any conflicts
  • Operations Management - Oversee day-to-day site operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflows. Coordinate with various departments to align operational activities and resolve challenges. Manage resources effectively, adjusting operational plans as necessary to meet new or evolving requirements
  • Regulatory, Safety & Compliance Management - Keep up to date with corporate, federal and state regulations to ensure strict compliance in all operational activities. Ensure adherence to comprehensive safety protocols, monitoring daily activities to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance, documenting and addressing any deficiencies promptly
  • Business Operations and Process Optimization - Assess and improve business operations on an ongoing basis and lead the creation and implementation of best practices. Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, HR, logistics) to streamline processes and optimize resource allocation. Identify and recommend innovative approaches to reduce costs and improve the corporate P&L, improve efficiency, and enhance project outcomes. Serve as a mentor and coach to help employees reach individual and organizational goals
  • Customer Service & Stakeholder Engagement - primary point of contact for clients and other external stakeholders, ensuring strong relationships and high levels of satisfaction. Clearly communicate project status, challenges, and resolutions in a timely manner. Champion a customer-centric culture, proactively addressing and mitigating any concerns or issues
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to work flexible hours in a 24/7/365 business environment

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven track record of managing large teams
  • Five plus years’ experience and three plus years supervisory experience
  • Experience in workforce planning and government contracting environments with the Service Contract Act (SCA) is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience dealing with performance management situations
  • Solid background in operations management and safety, focusing on compliance and process improvement
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
  • Must pass a motor vehicle record check and employer and government eApp background checks after accepting a conditional offer of employment
