This job opportunity is for services to be performed under a contract with the federal government Office of Refugee Resettlement.
The Youth Care Worker (Bilingual English / Spanish) is responsible for ensuring all youth safety in their care according to Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) policy and always maintaining line-of-sight.
Essential Functions :
- Provide care and services to youth, ages 13-17
- Direct care and monitoring of youth, ensuring to maintain a line-of-sight for assigned of youth
- Support with the delivery of educational services based on age appropriateness
- Engage in recreational and leisure activities with youth
- Collaborate with other providers on behavioral management policies and protocols
- Incorporate access to services related to culture, language, and religious observations
- Ensure the physical safety of youth
- Provide same gender supervision for any area where youth regularly undress, including restrooms and showers in accordance with Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) guidelines
- Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience :
Preferred pre-hire qualifications with monetary incentive :
Valid ORR Tier Two adjudication;
Bonus available for immediate satisfaction of vetting qualification upon hire, subject to verification and payout after 30 continuous days of service
