Slitting Technician - Second Shift

Job Summary:

The primary function of the position is the set up and operation of roll-to-roll slitting machines to slit continuous lengths of flexible film material meeting customer quality standards. During slitting, visual inspections are completed and documented. The individual will also perform quality checks on witness samples and document test results in various software platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work in a logical, orderly, and skillful manner while maintaining a high level of quality workmanship.
• Setup and operate all roll-to-roll slitters.
• Use visual acuity and color perception necessary to distinguish color shades.
• Ensure product quality meets all customer requirements.
• Perform minor mechanical maintenance on machine as required.
• Demonstrate paperwork – attention to detail accurately recording written and typed data.
• Read and understand process and specs.
• Properly maintain housekeeping duties (i.e., blowing and wiping down machine, sweeping, mopping floor, cleaning walls, and hoist beams)
• Accurately measure down to 1/64th of an inch
• Regular, consistent attendance and punctuality are essential to the job.
• All other duties assigned by manager.
• Ability to work in the cleanroom environment.
• Forklift Hoist Operation

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3-5 years of Quality experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Like standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and climbing ladders or stairways during your shift
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
