Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a private dining club. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring that members have an enjoyable experience. You will play a key role in maintaining the bar's cleanliness and organization while adhering to all food safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with members to provide recommendations and ensure satisfaction with their drink orders.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, membership charges and manage tabs accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies; assist in ordering as necessary.
- Adhere to all local health and safety regulations regarding food safety practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Provide catering services for special events as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a fine dining or high-volume establishment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques and cocktail recipes.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Excellent cash handling skills with basic math proficiency.
- Outstanding hospitality skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be knowledgeable about food safety practices and regulations.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
