At DDA, we are responsible for administration and oversight of services and supports for more than 1.5 million older adults and Tennesseans with disabilities
Job Overview:
Completes Quality Monitoring reviews for providers. The Department conducts an entrance with the provider, completes reports, and exits with the provider. The provider is sent a final report with findings. Overall, the Quality Monitoring Department review providers quality of services for people they support to ensure the providers processes are effective and align with DDA guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete a review of provider processes, complete interviews an observations of people supported by the provider. Quality Monitoring reports are completed timely to ensure provider processes are timely and effective. Attends provider entrance, conciliations and exit meetings and ensure Quality Monitoring reports are written accurately and according to the indicator guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience: Education equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: psychology, social science, human science, or behavior science. Substitution of Experience for Education: Professional experience working directly with people with intellectual or developmental disabilities and/or the aging population for a minimum of four years may be substituted for the requirement of a bachelor's degree. Preferred Qualifications: Effective writing, communication and organizational skills. Ability to work in team settings and meet assigned deadlines.
