Head of Office Management

JOB PURPOSE

At DEPT®, we are looking for a Head of Office Management based in the Netherlands. As Head of Office Management, you will manage the facilities/hospitality team based in the Netherlands. You will ensure efficient operations across our Amsterdam and Rotterdamm offices, and be key to promoting a strong working culture and environment. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the Hospitality Team Lead and their team (6 colleagues in total), ensuring a high standard of service across both NL offices.
• Budget oversight: manage budgets for hospitality and facilities.
• Problem solving: Provide practical, hands-on solutions for daily challenges.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams, in the combination of hospitality and facilities in an international organisation;
• Hands-on Approach: willingness to work alongside the team.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and control budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and optimal resource allocation in hospitality and facilities.
• A proactive, pragmatic approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges, with the ability to deliver quick, practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and across multiple teams.
• Willingness to work two days per week in Rotterdam and two days in Amsterdam, with one day remote or part-time. 
• Working proficiency in both Dutch and English.
