Deputy’s Data & Analytics team works with nearly all parts of the business to help the company better understand our customers and make data-driven decisions. You will get exposure to teams as diverse as product, marketing, growth, operations, and more, supporting them in making better, more data driven decisions.
You will get exposure to commercial business decisions, data engineering, analytics and data science, and presentation.
\n- Your role will be pivotal in translating the wealth of data Deputy has, into actionable insights to not only enhance our clients' operational efficiency and growth trajectory but also the operational efficiency of Deputy’s marketing and operational decisions.
- Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of comprehensive reports detailing the company's performance. Through meticulous monitoring of key business KPIs and trend analysis, you'll furnish valuable insights to respective departments, facilitating continuous improvement in business performance.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, departmental leaders, and executives. By cultivating trust and serving as a trusted advisor, you'll offer guidance on leveraging data to drive performance enhancements and refine product strategies.
- Take part in significant technical endeavours, including the revamping of marketing automation and attribution systems, optimisation of lead generation and conversions, and the implementation of sales pipeline and revenue forecasting initiatives.
- Conduct thorough data analysis to underpin our business strategy, generating informative reports on product usage, marketing efficacy, and other critical activities. Through this analysis, you'll uncover pertinent insights and trends in user behaviour and product feature utilisation across our web and app platforms.
- Utilise prescriptive analytics methodologies to formulate actionable recommendations for refining marketing campaigns, optimising pricing strategies, and maximising revenue generation.
- Incorporate industry benchmarks and external data sources into your analysis to enrich your reporting standards. By leveraging these additional insights, you'll provide deeper context and actionable recommendations for driving business growth and maximising performance.
- 2-3 years experience in a Data Analytics preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven environment
- Logical thinker with business acumen - think commercially and execute technically
- Strong knowledge/mastery of SQL (Currently on Databricks)
- Create, construct, and uphold scalable data models and transformations utilising DBT alongside Databricks, guaranteeing the efficient transformation and loading of data from various sources into the data warehouse.
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as ThoughtSpot or similar platforms
- Programming: working knowledge of Python, Scala, Java, or similar general purpose language. Knowledge of statistics & ML concepts also a plus
- Experience in predictive modelling, prescriptive analytics and data storytelling techniques
- Strong investigative and problem-solving skills, with an ability to marry together different data sets and make reasonable assumptions to get to a conclusion
- Team Player - results-driven individual, highly creative and analytical, a strategic thinker, having an ability to work comfortably in a collaborative setting, highly organised, and an ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects and meet deadlines
