FUNCTION
The Count Team Attendant plays a key role in the financial integrity of our operations by performing multiple essential functions, including Drop Crew member, Drop Box Opener, Currency Counter Operator, and Recorder. Operating in a fast-paced environment, this role is responsible for removing unaudited cash boxes from gaming machines, securely transporting them to the Count Room, and assisting in the counting process. This position will be assigned to the Poplar Level and Downtown location based on business needs.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collects cash drop boxes from gaming machines and redemption kiosks.
- Ensures compliance with company count policies, procedures, and state gaming regulations.
- Safeguards unaudited assets by securely handling and storing cash drop boxes.
- Retrieves cash drop boxes from storage carts, opens them and prepares funds for counting.
- Assists in processing currency from gaming machines and NRTs through the counting machines.
- Records and documents all cash activity electronically and provides necessary paperwork to the Revenue Audit Team.
- Verifies daily cash bundles and strapped currency to ensure accuracy.
- Maintains cleanliness of the Count Room, including counting machines.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Experience in a gaming or related field preferred.
- Ability to obtain a valid Racing License.
