What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intervention Teachers position at Derby Elementary School?
The Derby Elementary School is seeking elementary teachers that would teach individual, or small group literacy and math intervention lessons. The ideal candidates will be motivated and responsible professionals who loves teaching young children with a variety of strengths and challenges, and have experience with MTSS. Applicants should have good communication skills and be a team player.
Responsibilities include: planning for instruction and management, direct instruction to individual, small groups and large groups in an inclusive classroom, and oversight of paraprofessional staff.
Candidates must have or be eligible for VT Licensure in Elementary Education (1-00).
Salary & benefits: per Teacher’s Negotiated Agreement
