What are the responsibilities and job description for the MTSS Coordinator position at Derby Elementary School?
The Derby Elementary School is seeking an MTSS Coordinator. The MTSS Coordinator is responsible for coordinating plans, meetings, and supports for students and will support the implementation of the MTSS framework by aligning resources and supports to help all students access their learning environment. This individual will collaboratively work with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure that plans are completed according to state laws and school procedures. Applicants should have good communication skills and be a team player.
Qualifications:
●Hold or be eligible for Vermont Professional Teaching License
● 5 years in Vermont public schools, preferably working with students at the elementary school level
●Excellent communication and organizational skills.
●Prior Knowledge of MTSS and related support systems.
Candidates must have or be eligible for VT Licensure in Elementary Education (1-00).
Salary & benefits: per Teacher’s Negotiated Agreement
