What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Maintenance Specialist position at Derby Lane Greyhound Track?
We have Immediate opening for a full-time maintenance worker. The schedule is Tuesday-Saturday 8am-5pm. Reliable transportation. Must have a clean criminal background to qualify for a State of Florida Para-mutuel Racing License.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Handyman Experience
- Basic Plumbing
- Landscape Maintenance
- Mechanical Knowledge
- Irrigation Repair
- Basic Carpentry
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
- Physically fit
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Exposure to outdoor elements
- Walking, climbing, squatting, stooping, bending, kneeling ,reaching and lifting
- Exposure to various chemicals
- Flexible work schedule
- Overtime work on “as needed” basis
