About the Role : Are you passionate about the maritime industry and looking for an exciting role that combines technical expertise with project management? We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing maritime projects. From concept to completion, you will oversee the design, construction, and implementation of various maritime projects. Responsibilities :

• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Manage project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Provide technical expertise in engineering design and project management.
• Maintain project documentation and records.
• Review drawings from third parties to ensure accuracy and reliability of information.
• Assist with the creation of build strategies.
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Perform risk assessments to minimize and manage project risks.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Development of Test Memos for commission of systems and vessels.
• Assist PM with the coordination of tech reps during vessel commissioning.
• Submit drawings to MSC for any USCG project.
• Create the bill of materials.

Qualifications :

Minimum Education : Bachelor's degree in Marine, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience

Work Environment Summary : Applicant may be subject to environmental conditions such as cold, heat, exposure to noise, hazards, and confined spaces / close quarters. Applicant must be able to access all areas of the shipyard and company property including docks. Shipyard work is often noisy and dirty.
