Position Purpose
The Billing & Coding Support Associate is responsible for entering payments within and EMR system and generating invoices to be sent to the patient. Will also handle in-bound and out-bound calls, and work patient aged receivables.
Role & Responsibilities
- Reconciles cash batches from Reception and Dispensary departments.
- Collect, post, and manage patient account payments.
- Prepare and review patient statements.
- Review delinquent accounts and contact patients for collection purposes.
- Answer questions regarding account balances.
- Process payments from insurance companies.
- Verifies/Updates patient contact information & mailing address.
- Maintain strict confidentiality.
- Adhere to all HIPAA rules and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Official High School Transcripts, Diploma or Equivalency Certificate
- Ability to navigate between different tabs and systems on the computer.

Hours
- 5 x 8-hour shifts (M-F) 9am-5pm
