Position Purpose
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, the HR Generalist builds strong relationships with our company's managers in order to help them with their human resource needs.
Role and Responsibilities
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions.
- Conducts new hire orientation and ensures a smooth onboarding process.
- Provides support to employees and managers in various HR-related topics such as leaves, benefits, and compensation.
- Serves as a liaison between management and employees.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Processes employment verifications, and background and reference checks.
- Conducts exit interviews and process terminations, leave of absences, etc.
- Maintains employee files.
- Assists with payroll processing.
- Performs other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-2 year’s Human Resources experience
- Knowledge of employment and labor laws
- Excellent communication and people skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ADP WorkforceNow
- Healthcare experience
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
