About the Position
- You will initiate and conduct new product development, focusing on alloy formulation, materials processing, and innovative uses of Deringer-Ney processes and materials.
- Assist in resolving day-to-day manufacturing problems related to materials and processing.
- Lead the development of innovative solutions to manufacturing challenges.
- Provide technical support to the Sales and Marketing departments.
- Work directly with customers and prospects to select suitable DNI products.
- Perform detailed failure analyses for company, customers, and prospects.
- Prepare well-written, professional reports for internal and external use.
- Offer technical training and support to field sales personnel.
- Maintain a working knowledge of technological advancements in new and existing markets, keeping upper management informed of potential impacts.
Key Responsibilities
- SUPVISE ACTIVITIES OF R&D TECHNICIAN(S).
- UNDERTAKE SPECIAL PROJECTS AS REQUESTED BY THE R&D MANAGER.
- DEVELOP AND DOCUMENT NEW TEST METHODS TO SUPPORT IMPROVED PRODUCT QUALITY/ RELIABILITY.
