Job Summary
DERKSEN PORTABLE BUILDINGS is looking for a motivated and results-driven Territory Manager to oversee and expand our business operations within a designated territory. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in establishing and maintaining partnerships with local business owners, demonstrate exceptional skills in sales management, account management, and customer service. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to open, train, motivate and manage sales locations, drive business development initiatives to achieve company goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve territory sales targets.
- Maximize assigned territory by actively open competent sales locations.
- Educate the business owner and staff on the benefits and advantages of becoming a Derksen dealer and motivate them to sell our product.
- Create and maintain strong business relations with dealers.
- Provide training and sales support to dealer locations.
- Responsible for encouraging and maintaining the presentation of displays- ensuring banners and signs are displayed properly and dealers have everything necessary to make a sale (brochures, banners, signs, paperwork, etc.).
- Constant visits to each dealer, based on assigned goals.
- Provide immediate assistance and technical support to dealer locations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional strategies that enhance product visibility.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years proven track record of success in sales.
- Proven experience in territory sales is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in business development and account management.
- Strong understanding of territory sales dynamics and customer service principles.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients at all levels.
- A problem solver with a “can-do” attitude.
- Access to high-speed internet.
- Availability to Travel monthly 50% of the time.
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record to operate a motor vehicle.
- Vehicle in good condition for travel.
- MS office skills.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
