Fast-paced private practice seeking a new member of our team.
The ideal candidate is reliable, honest, hardworking, detail-oriented, flexible, cheerful, and patient-centered. In this important role, a successful candidate will act as an ambassador for the practice to patients. We are looking to grow our excellent team with members who are eager to contribute to top-quality customer service. Duties include:
· Many patient flow responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, patient check-in, patient check-out
· Collecting payments, explaining pricing and use of products recommended by providers
· Verifying insurance benefits through EMR and confirming the same in individual insurance websites
· Explaining to patients what to expect after their office visits.
· Preparing face sheets
· Communicating with other physician offices regarding referrals and patient records
· Managing patient communications/questions, incoming faxes and other correspondence; delegating as appropriate
· Corresponding with referring physicians, scanning and routing correspondence and medical records, and other general clinical admin duties as assigned
· Process medical records requests
Required Qualifications:
· Willingness to establish and maintain a fun and professional work environment
· Must be able to multitask, have GREAT ATTENTION TO DETAIL, be punctual, and deliver exceptional customer service experience
· Natural inclination to take initiative
· Experience and detailed knowledge of EMR systems for scheduling and charting
Desired Qualifications:
·. Work experience in this role
· Knowledge of HIPAA compliance
· Formal training as a Patient Service Representative
· Problem-solving and/or social media marketing interest
· We are a team-oriented practice so a willingness to be cross-trained to assist with both clinical, front-office, and administrative tasks is important
· Our office uses EMA from Modernizing Medicine and preference will be given to candidates who have experience with this system
· Experience and detailed knowledge of patient flow, patient care operations, patient safety, medical office sanitation, OSHA

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
