RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
- Answer phones promptly and in a polite and professional manner.
- Obtain and enter accurate demographic information into NEXTGEN PM/EMR
- Schedule, and confirm appointments correctly in NEXTGEN PM/EMR including; appointment date, time, location, and provider name.
- Inform caller of items to bring to the appointment (including insurance card and identification as required by practice)
- Remind caller to arrive 15 to 30 minutes before scheduled seminar/appointment to complete paperwork.
- Review cancellation/no-show policy with patient.
- Answer questions and offer other information, as requested, to provide patient-focused service and a positive impression of the organization.
- Seek and support changes in call flow processes and communication services.
- Meet and exceed call volume standards.
- Adhere to all HIPAA policies.
- Adhere to all DAG policies.
- Other duties as assigned, as it relates to the role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
