What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admin Assistant / Bookkeeper position at Dermatology Associates?
As an admin assistant / bookkeeper of Dermatology Associates you will assist the practice manager with a variety of tasks including recording and maintaining business financial records. You will also assist in providing monthly financial and analysis reports.
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal and practice requirements
- Prepare regular financial and productivity reports
- Reconcile discrepancies in financial reports
- Provide accurate and up-to-date financial information to practice manager
- Record daily transactions, such as sales, purchases, and expenses
- Maintain financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Process invoices, and payments
- Close books monthly / reconcile statements
Skills and qualifications
- Strong math skills
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and bookkeeping software
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to multi-task
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
