The Position:
We’re looking for an experienced HR professional to join our team as a Human Resource Director. In this role, you’ll work closely with leadership to plan HR strategies, guide HR activities, and foster positive employee relations. You’ll help us create a fair and transparent work environment for all employees.
Job Summary:
As HR Director, you’ll lead and manage the HR department’s policies and activities, ensuring legal compliance and supporting our organization’s talent strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Work with leadership to align HR goals with the company’s staffing, recruiting, and retention needs. Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to improve the organization’s performance.
- Employee Engagement: Lead initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and guide the organization through complex employee relations issues.
- HR Programs: Oversee HR programs such as compensation, benefits, performance management, training, and safety. Manage the full employee lifecycle from hiring to retirement/termination.
- Compliance: Ensure the organization follows all employment laws and best practices. Keep policies up to date to meet compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field required
- Senior HR management experience required (mid-size organization and healthcare setting preferred)
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
- Experience with HRIS systems (Rippling HRIS is preferred).
Key Skills:
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle employee issues fairly.
- Thorough knowledge of employment laws and HR software.
Work Environment:
- Hybrid work (mostly onsite).
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
