Medical Assistant

Growing medical and cosmetic dermatology practice in downtown Manhattan seeking experienced medical assistant. Excellent opportunity for an experienced individual who has a special interest in aesthetics to be a part of a team. The ideal candidate is someone with excellent multi tasking skills, a natural inclination to take initiative and a positive attitude that can be maintained in a fast paced environment. Full time position. The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and a computer savvy individual. Experience in medical dermatology and lasers is preferred. Dermatology or surgical experience is preferred. Medical Scribers and students will be considered. Must have a year experience in a medical/hospital setting. All candidates with no experience WILL NOT be considered .Candidate should be responsible, possess good phone skills, be able to multi-task, pay attention to detail, and interact well with patients. Candidate should also have experience with scribing, phlebotomy, insurance verification, EMR, scheduling, and operating a multi-line phone system. Must speak English fluently and have good typing skills. Must have a professional appearance and good verbal skills.
